REALTOR® Dues Billing Q&A

CCAR works to make it easy to receive notices of your REALTOR® membership dues by providing timely information at our website www.ccarrealtors.org, direct member emails and publishing notices in its weekly Monday Moments email.

Failure to receive notification does not relieve you of the requirement to meet the dues deadlines.  If you have any questions, please call the office at 252-247-2323.

Announcement September 2023 - CCAR/CCMLS increases REALTOR® and MLS Fees by 3% annually

Beginning in 2024, we will be implementing a small increase in our membership REALTOR® dues and MLS fees.

We understand that any adjustment to dues and fees may raise questions, and we want to assure you that this decision was made thoughtfully and with the best interests of our organization and its members in mind. Both Board of Directors felt having this small incremental increase each year is far better than having to adjust in the future asking for a large increase at one time from our members.

Why the Dues/Fees Increase?

Over the past few years, our organization has experienced increased operational costs.  These include expenses related to maintain our facilities, expanding our programs and adapting to changing regulatory requirements.

We are committed to providing you with the highest quality of services, programs, and resources.  The dues and fees increase will help us maintain and enhance the standards you’ve come to expect from us.

Your membership dues directly contribute to creating a more enriching and enjoyable experience for all members.  By investing in our organization, you are helping us offer improved facilities, new programs and enhanced member benefits.

 What You Can Expect:

The new dues and fees amount will be as follows:  (example until year 2028)

The increase will take effect starting in 2024, however, we will be billing for 2024 REALTOR® Dues on December 1, 2023, with the new dues increase.  The increase of MLS Fees will not be billed until January 1, 2024.

We understand that changes like these can be challenging, and we want to emphasize that your membership remains essential to us.  We are committed to ensuring that you receive great value for your investment, and we will continually work to enhance your experience as a member.
